&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Accounts &amp; Subaccounts&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/li&gt;Subaccounts can now be defined for Accounts. Contacts can be associated to Accounts or Subaccounts and the request view permissions can be provided accordingly. This will provide greater flexibility for Accounts having a head office &amp; various branches.Also the Accounts pages have been modified for greater usability.

&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Contract Management&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/li&gt;Ability to define a contract with block hours or incidents for an account. As requests are resolved, block hours/incidents get used up. When the hours/incidents left reach a particular level, notifications are triggered to the configured members for appropriate action.

&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Time Entry enhancements&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/li&gt;Time entry user interface has undergone an overhaul. Time entry has been modified to work in synch with the Contracts module.

Supportcenter periodically looks for a CSV file in a specified location &amp; updates it's database when it finds one.

&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Reply option for customers&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/li&gt;The reply option is now available for the customers as well. Customers can login to the customer portal &amp; reply to Support Reps questions.

&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Forward option for Support Rep Replies&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/li&gt;Support Reps will have the ability to forward their own replies. Sometimes, the Support Rep would like to quote his earlier reply when replying to the contact. To achieve this, the Support Rep can now forward his earlier reply and further add to it.

It is highly recommended that you install the migration pack in a test bed before you apply the same to the production environment. This is done mainly to avoid data loss and also you can schedule the downtime of your production server based on the results from the test bed.

&lt;b&gt;7. Limitations for this upgrade pack:&lt;/b&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;As there are more data model changes, Custom generated reports will be deleted and you need to re-create them.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Personalized changes in the Inventory section ( like Sort on Workstations or any other column, number of columns to be displayed, number of record counts to be displayed etc... ) will be lost and you have to recreate these changes.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;In SDP 6.0, Workstations and Assets are separate entities. In SDP 7.0, workstations are also Assets. Hence we have moved the Assets of product type Desktop, Laptop, Desktops, Laptops into workstations. If an asset of type workstation is stored in any other product type (or in a different language), it will not be merged as a workstation. Hence we recommend to reset the 'Product Type' into Desktops or Laptops to get them moved into workstations.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;We have added a new Status called 'Resolved' under Completed type. If there already exists a status name 'Resolved', then the property of the existing 'Resolved' status will be set as (Pending = false and Stop Timer = true). This needs to be noted.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;b&gt;8. Points to be noted:&lt;/b&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;During our earlier migration issues analysis, we noticed quite a good number of users fail to backup data before migration, which causes trouble when there is any issue during migration. Hence for SDP 6.x to 7.0 migration, upgrade patch takes a mandatory trimmed backup (data without attachments). Data backup could take time depending on data in the application. Hence, do not kill the upgrade process assuming the upgrade is not happening.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;In Admin -&gt; Notification Rules, the new notification 'Email User when a Request is Resolved' will be enabled by default during migration. This will send a notification to the users when a request is placed in 'Resolved' status. Please uncheck and save if notification need not to be sent for 'Resolved' status.&lt;/li&gt;

The term 'Download' which was being used to denote the transfer of configuration from DeviceExpert to the device, has been changed to 'Upload' to adhere to industry standard terms. Henceforth, the following terminologies would be consistently used:
* Backup denoting retrieval of current configuration from device and transfer of the same to DeviceExpert
* Upload denoting the transfer of the configuration from DeviceExpert to the device
*	ResultHandler
The 'ResultHandler' feature has been removed. A more powerful Change Management feature was added in the previous release (4200) itself.</description>
